I’ve been wrestling with my fairly scattered blog: Living in Space for about three years now, and I think it’s finally time to let it retire. Today I’m starting from scratch with this blog: A Certain Lack of Focus (duh, see above): Drawings. Reviews. Kitties.
ABOUT ME: My name is Meagan B. Call and I’m an aspiring writer, illustrator, and general creator. I graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2004 with a completely useless studio art degree and embarked in a 3 year MFA program for a second useless degree (this time in creative writing) which will end up taking me four years. Last month, a week before I got married to the wonderful Matthew Neely, I finished the first draft of my novel: Lost Child of Summer, a fantasy novel about faeries and teenagers and whether anyone can tell the two apart. In my free time I fence and daydream.
THE BLOG: This could get a bit ugly until I find my footing in wordpress, but I intend this to be a blog of creation. I hope to post daily drawings starting in a week or two, weekly short prose, book and movie reviews, and whatever random thoughts pop into my head. I won’t promise order because I already know that would be a lie, but I hope my contributions will at least be entertaining.
