A Certain Lack of Focus

On the Road

We are currently on our way to Cincinnati, where we’ll spend the next day and a half hanging out with Matt’s mom. Then it’s on to Louisville, KY for the fencing tournament.

I have three working epees, borrowed from Hooked on Fencing, and my uniform more or less fits, though my name on the back is faded. I’m out of shape, out of practice, and generally out of it, but hopefully my twelve years experience will help me out a little.

I’m going to try to liveblog on Sunday, but that could change if, say, I forget, or lose all my bouts and finish fencing by 9. We’ll see. I’m also hoping to twitter between bouts. Either way, I’ll post here about my results, so check back Sunday to see my status.
